Molybdenum trioxide (MoO3), known in the trade as technical molybdic oxide, is the key intermediate between molybdenite concentrate and downstream molybdenum products. It is used in alloy and stainless steelmaking, as a catalyst precursor, and as feedstock for pure molybdenum chemicals and metal powder.
